Kiera’s birthday party!

Good fun was had by all at Kiera’s party. Instead of giving gifts to Kiera, she asked that kids brought donations for an animal shelter in WI. Just the other day she was able to bring the donations— what an amazing, thoughtful, and giving spirit she has.

A fruit rainbow cake decorated by Laura and rice crispy treats topped the night off!

Sullyman, Suldog, The General, Brothie— is TWO!

Sully is TWO! We spent the day at Zannie’s after an impromptu visit to the hospital to visit Grandma Ellen. The day was merry- filled with Beau-Beau inspired “mushing” with Grandpa Tom, chocolate M&Ms, and LOTS of pickles:) His party was a chill dance party at the Venue attended by his little buddies and their dancing shoes:)

Sully has been day potty trained for weeks now. “Hey Sully, what’cha wearing?” “Unies!” He is very proud of himself. Sitting on the potty only lasted for a little while- he now prefers to stand on the stool. He is a good “aimer” and even wipes up any little sprinkles of potty:)He still enjoy his mama milk, or as Sully named it “mimi”.

He is starting to form two word sentences. His first two words sentences were “bubble more” (while taking a “ath”), “peepee ‘tool”, and “water ‘a”). No translation needed for me now, but who knows in 20 years:) More bubbles, Peepee stool, and water on.He is replacing his classic pointing and “OOOOOOing” with his awesome words- I will miss the cute OOOOOs but love hearing his little voice. What fun!

The other day I went into the bathroom to find a large wad of wet wipes shoved into a water bottle that Sully was playing with in the sink. He was having a blast and didn’t want me to interrupt. Taking a cue from his sister, his quickly put his hand out to stop me from coming in anymore and confidently said “pace, Mama, pace!” (Space Mama, space!)

He is doing really well with pet Diggy, well, as well as a newly two year old can be:) Anything surrounding balls, trucks, cho-chos, mud, or wa-wa  makes his day. The snow is quickly melting and leaving oodles of big mud puddles- his new froggie rain boots have been a big hit.

Sully’s sense of humor is growing each day- not a day goes by that he doesn’t crack us up. Kiera and Sully play well together more often than not. She understands much of his little language, lets him help stir on the stove, pet diggy, read her books (mostly), and snuggle together in bed. Taking baths is a great time with both of them as well. For now the size of the tub accommodates both of them very nicely.

Dr. Winesett said he looks great at his 2 year well child appointment- on the petite side and very healthy.

Sully- you are an AMAZING little guy. Thank you for picking our family. I will savor our snuggles forever.
