While putting Kiera to sleep tonight I told her that Sully went to sleep without “mimi”. She asked me if that made me sad. I paused and was legitimately touched. I told her that I was a little sad because nursing has been a big part of me and I won’t be doing it again. She reached out her hand and placed it on my shoulder and said, “Shut your eyes Mom, I am giving you good energy.” I shut my eyes and took a deep breath. She said, “Good Mom, take one more.” I did indeed take another deep breath in and opened my eyes. She asked me if I felt better. Why yes, I sure did feel better my sweet Rae.
