Many friends; new and old.

Friends new and old paid visits to kiera today as we waited for the doctors to come get her. Grandmas, grandpas, and good friends were with us when the nurse came to wheel her bed down the hall.

Her spirit was good as she was explained the process she would experience. She even had a few things to say about it herself. “Don’t cover my fumb, ok!”

Papa was able to hold her hand as she was put under (not an experience I wish to have again). She fell asleep quickly and we now wait, for the wonderful doctors to work their magic, sitting here in the waiting room. This has to be the worst part even though we are reassured of the doctors’ greatness.

It shouldn’t be long before the doctor comes to inform us of the procedure. We will be sure to update and have pictures…

Strawberry gluten free

It was a lazy morning in bed. Kiera was feeding her baby Oatmeal Sei pizza and her milkie.

“What are you doing Kiera?”

“Feeding my baby nummies.”

“What kind of nummies?”

“Strawberry gluten free milkie.”

Interesting concept Rae Rae :)

“cleaning” the clothes and getting old.

Me: “Kiera, what are you doing?”

Kiera: “Cleaning my clothes.”

Me: “Are you ironing your clothes?”

Kiera: “No, I just cleaning them.”

Me: “Kiera, how are you doing?” (Playing at the park on a cloudy afternoon.)

Kiera: “I just playing too hard. Needs lots of juicy.”

Me: “You are two, what do you mean you are playing too hard?”

Kiera: “Ufff, I just getting too old.”

The lessons a two year old can teach you…

Kiera showing off Mama’s tears (first trimester of pregnancy, need I say more?)

She broke my heart when she said, “Mama, you can wipe your tears on my shirt.” The lesson she taught me today? “Just breath, life isn’t so bad!”

“I help Mama!”
