So just some funny Kiera talking moments to share with everyone. Enjoy.
Kiera and I were on a strolling walk outside when she asked me to hold her bear who was neatly wrapped in a playsilk.
“Hold this, Mama. I need to walk by myself”.
I gently (or so I thought) grabbed bear and wrapped him in my arms. At the dismay of Kiera one corner of the playsilk came falling down. I gently (again, or so I thought) wrapped bear up and continued walking.
“No, No, No, Mama. I teach you right way to do it. I big girl”.
Kiera quickly grabbed the teddy bear from my arm. Took the whole silk off and re-wrapped the bear “the right way”.
I guess that is what you call being schooled by a two year old.

Kiera and I were snuggling in for a cozy afternoon napwhen she started reaching for me ear.
Mama: “Kiera, Mama’s ear needs a little space right now”.
Kiera: “Why?”
Mama: “Mama’s ear needs to go to sleepies too”.
Kiera: “I just hold your ear safe so bugs don’t eat it”. (Kiera’s catch phrase lately, apprently the ear wig in the bathtub was traumatizing.)
Mama: “Gracias Kiera, Mama’s ear is safe and needs space.”
Kiera: “I just a little girl and need my Mama ear. I sad Mama. Just want to hold your ear.”
Mama (heartbroken) went to sleep snuggled up to Kiera with her holding my ear, again. One point for Kiera!

Kiera was wondering around the house, playing kitchen and “shopping cart” with her animals and babies. I hear singing in the room and go in to listen to her song.
Kiera: “I sing pretty song pretty song pretty song”.
Mama: ” Kiera, what are you singing?”
Kiera (very matter of factly): “I singing pretty song!”
Mama: “Wow, Kiera. That is a beautiful song!”
I went back to what I was doing and hear yet another song.
Kiera: “I sing beautiful song beautiful song beautiful song.”
Noticing that I wasn’t coming to listen to her song, Kiera came into the kitchen and exclaimed…
“See Mama, I can sing beautiful song too!”
Indeed Kiera, indeed!
