Beans gallore

Homeschooling at it’s finest! A chilly and dark afternoon found us playing with beans, seeds, and cereal. The kids had fun transferring and pouring for a long time! The box in the background was a quick project from this morning.

Sully’s vocab is exploding. “Mue me” (excuse me) is his favorite right now:) He is showing more intensity when he doesn’t get his way and his sissie is the highlight of his life. He has been going potty on the kid potty a few times a day— he loves the “potty dance” just like Kiera did! Every morning when he hears her door creak open he squeals “DIDDIE!!!” Super sweet. Looks like night weaning is in the process. When Martin is able to sleep with Sully at night, he does great. He is growing so fast!

Kiera is liking ballet and cooking. Experimenting with the letters of her name has kept her busy as of late. Long playtime with Nolan and Jonah today- it was hard to get her to leave.

Life is amazing and beautiful— we are so blessed.

slug heaven

Slug drama this morning when I brought in Kiera’s shopping cart from outside. There ended up being about 15 of the little buggers on there and as Sully happily pushed the cart along they started falling off one by one. Kiera panicked and made Sully bring each one outside.

We proceeded to play outside in the crunchy leaves. Here Sully takes a break from pushing the neighbor’s truck to brush off his hands.

Beach fairy treasures were calling our name so we headed to the beach… but not before a special hot chocolate treat!

The rain clouds started forming but that didn’t stop us from having some adventure time.

Quickly the layers started coming off.

The sand was surprisingly warm… off went the shoes!

Take one. Not too shabby. When looking at it Kiera said “If only Papa was in the picture then we could have a FAMILY picture.”

Andrew, Maggie, and Julie joined us for a little bit before the rain started dumping.

The rain only lasted a short while. After Kiera’s haircut it was outside time for sure. The sun was so warm for late September!

Hiding from the sun- Kiera enjoying a healthy version of “Papa’s cereal”

Sully doing quite well with a spoon

Marv- our classic neighbor. A good man to say the least.
